I am a retired art teacher who has returned to Wales to be inspired by its beautiful countryside and attractions. It is a dream come true to work out of my cottage-style studio along with my husband and six cats. My degree in graphic design has informed my approach to the art I create. Using my own photography, I design striking patterns and integrate them into a variety of different mediums.

Inspired by the intricate colours, textures and patterns found in natural forms.

I have developed a fascination with close-up details of flowers, trees and the landscapes of North Wales. I use dye sublimination to print onto my hand-sewn crafts and fabrics, including ceramics, cushions, coasters, scented sachets and glass. One of my many passions is free-machine sewing, from which I produce hand-sewn quilts, each one unique with its individual colours and patterning. I take commissions to print personal customised items, for example, I have already fashioned images of pets on various mediums.

If you want to see the products in person, then you can visit the Nantclwyd y Dre museum in Ruthin or at Bodnant Craft Centre where the crafts are on display. Check facebook to see which craftfairs I will be attending, and I am often found at the Market Hall in Ruthin on a Friday or Saturday
